VPN for Windows 10 laptops and desktops

Windows 10 and Windows 11 use the same Ben's VPN installer. The app opens in a guest account, with no registration. You can sign in to a paid account without your phone. Use your e-mail, a code from our website or our Telegram bot.

Windows 10 setup in 3 steps

  1. Open the file

Choose Yes when User Account Control asks about the installer. The app adds its own VPN adapter to Windows, which can require administrator rights.

  2. Wait for the main screen

The app signs in to a guest account for this PC automatically. You will not see a registration form.

  3. Click Connect

On a new account, the button opens the plans in Buy Ben's VPN. Choose a plan and pay. If the VPN is still off after the payment, click Connect again.

A PC upgraded from Windows 7 or 8.1 may show Windows has been updated in the app. Click Reinstall the app. Running the installer from this page again also works. The copy on the PC is the Windows 7 and 8 version. The VPN does not work until you reinstall it.

Windows 10 runs one VPN at a time

Ben's VPN does not connect while another VPN is active on the PC. The app then shows Another VPN is active. The cause can be an old VPN connection in Windows or another VPN app. In Windows 10, open Settings → Network & Internet → VPN and disconnect every active connection there. Then close the other VPN apps in the tray.

The VPN adapter is busy means that another program already uses the app’s own adapter. Usually it is a second copy of the app or a similar VPN program. Close that program and connect again.

3 ways to sign in without your phone

On a guest account, the sign-in screen opens from the purchase window. Click Connect, then Already have a subscription? → Sign in to account. Each of the 3 ways below needs only this PC:

  • Sign in with Email. A 6-digit code arrives at the e-mail address of your account. Type it into the app.
  • A code from the account page on our website. Enter it under Sign in with code.
  • Our Telegram bot. It gives a one-time code for Sign in with code as well.

Plans with no device limit

Every PC that signs in to your account shares its subscription. The guest account that the app starts on is tied to this PC. Before you change laptops, link an e-mail under Account → Link e-mail. Then sign in with that address on the new laptop.

Questions from Windows 10 users

Support 24/7: the chat on this site, Telegram @bensvpn and [email protected].

Is Windows 10 still supported?

Windows 10 is supported and uses the same installer as Windows 11 (see VPN for Windows 11). The installer runs on Windows 7 SP1 to Windows 11.

Do I have to add anything under Windows 10’s VPN settings?

No entry is needed there. The app connects through its own adapter. Leave the list under Settings → Network & Internet → VPN as it is. The list matters only when another VPN in it is still connected, as described above.

Can I switch the app to another language?

The language setting is under Account → Settings → Language.

Can the app launch automatically when Windows 10 starts?

The app can start together with Windows 10. Tick Launch the app on system startup under Account → Settings → Autostart.
