VPN for Google Chrome without a Web Store extension
The Chrome Web Store has no Ben's VPN extension. Google Chrome uses the VPN through the app on your computer or phone. Every Chrome profile and window is covered, and the browser needs no add-on.

Every Chrome profile and Guest window uses the VPN
Chrome stores extensions separately for each of your profiles. A VPN extension in your personal profile is absent from the work profile. A Guest window runs with no extensions at all.
For Ben's VPN, profiles do not matter: it connects the computer, not the browser. Personal, work and Guest windows use the location on the server card, Incognito included. A profile created later gets the same location from its first tab.
Chrome with Ben's VPN: setup in 3 steps
-
Install the app and connect
Download Ben's VPN with the button above, open it and press Connect. The app shows the plans first when the account has no subscription. The downloads page has every build, including those for devices without a button here. Every system has its own setup page: VPN for Windows, VPN for Mac, VPN for Linux, VPN for Android, VPN for iPhone and iPad.
-
Disable VPN extensions in Chrome
Click the puzzle-piece icon next to the address bar and choose Manage extensions. Disable every VPN or proxy extension in that list. An active one sends Chrome tabs to its own server. Sites then see that server, not the country on the server card in Ben's VPN.
-
Reload interrupted tabs
A tab that is loading at the moment of connection may show “Your connection was interrupted” with ERR_NETWORK_CHANGED. This error means Chrome detected a network change. Reload the tab to open it through the VPN.
YouTube in Chrome needs no separate setup
For Chrome, YouTube is a regular tab on the same VPN connection. The browser needs no video settings, and only the location matters. Fastest in the Change Location window is a location near you. It suits videos that are available in any country. For a video shown only in certain countries, choose one of them under Location.
The pages VPN for YouTube and YouTube on a computer cover buffering, blocked networks and other video problems.
Plans with no device limit
Every plan gives Chrome and your other apps the full list of countries, with no traffic limit.

Google Chrome questions
Support 24/7: the chat on this site, Telegram @bensvpn and [email protected].
Will my other Chrome extensions keep working?
Ad blockers, password managers and other extensions work as before. The app makes no changes inside the browser. Only extensions that send traffic to their own proxy or VPN server conflict with it.
Does Chrome have to stay open for the VPN to work?
No, the app runs separately from the browser. After you close Chrome, the other programs on the computer still use the VPN. The computer stays on the VPN until you press Disconnect.
Can Chrome on my phone use the same subscription?
Yes, one subscription covers the computer, the phone and your other devices. Install Ben's VPN on the phone and sign in to the same account. A guest account needs an e-mail first: on the computer, press Link e-mail under Account. Chrome on the phone then uses the VPN without its own settings. The page about all devices explains how to add a new device with a one-time code.
Will Chrome on Linux go through the VPN too?
Yes, the Linux app comes as a .deb package or an AppImage (Ubuntu 22.04+, Debian 12+). After it connects, Chrome and the rest of the system use the VPN. The Linux page has the installation steps for both builds.
Start for 3 days, then decide
The trial costs $0.50 and opens all 187 countries and every app. After it, the plan renews at $5 a month. You can cancel the renewal from your account at any time.
